The subject of this paper is statistical assessment of significant dimensions of supplier quality management as a concept on the sample of 111 industrial Serbian enterprises. On the basis of relevant literature, experimental survey of critical dimensions of supplier relations concept is conducted through reliability analysis and exploratory factor analysis. Scale reliability of investigated constructs was evaluated through calculation of Cronbach α coefficient. Explorative factor analysis with critical factor loading of 0.40 enabled data reduction with minimal loss of information. Recommendations about critical dimensions of supplier quality management are given. Domestic producers should have certified suppliers, that are included in design phase and to participate in their training. Experimental results show that dimension of small number of reliable suppliers rises Cronbach α from 0.338 to 0.585, under critical value 0.55. In that way, recommendation for small number of reliable suppliers, relevant in north American studies and surveys, was not confirmed as significant dimension of supplier quality management in experimental survey of domestic industrial enterprises.
