Instructions for authors

Open Access Policy
All articles published in the Journal of Applied Engineering Science (JAES) are open access and freely available online immediately upon publication under CC-BY 4.0 licence. 

Originality of Submissions
Submitted manuscripts must contain original work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Types of Articles Accepted
JAES accepts the following types of contributions: Original Scientific Papers & Review Articles & Short Communications & Preliminary Reports & Professional Papers

Conference Papers
Manuscripts based on conference presentations may be submitted, provided that the content has been substantially revised and does not appear in the same form in the published conference proceedings.

Publication Fees
There are no submission or publication charges.
An Article Processing Charge (APC) of EUR 350 is applied upon acceptance of the manuscript.

Language and Formatting
Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English. They should be thoroughly proofread prior to submission. The recommended manuscript length is up to 10 pages. An additional fee of EUR 20 per page will be charged for manuscripts exceeding this length.
