For the purpose of article submission, JAES is using e-service (online journal management system SCIndeks ASSISTANT).
Authors need to REGISTER with the
journal e-service prior to submitting, or if already registered can simply LOGIN and begin the 5 step process.
Submission Check list
As a part of the submission process, authors are required to check their submission's compliance with Submission Check list. Within JAES e-service Submission Check list has to be downloaded, signed and uploaded along with manuscript upload in the second step of submission process - Upload submission. Only manuscripts with uploaded Submission Check list will be taken into further consideration.
Submission Check list allows you to check the following elements relevant to the manuscript application:
- The submission has not been previously published, and is not currently being considered for publication by any other journal as it will not be submitted for such review until the final decision of the Editor-in-Chief.
- Full names and surnames of the authors with initial capital letters followed by full affiliation, town, country and email address corresponding to stated affiliation are given.
- All the authors have agreed that JAES keep their personal data (names and affiliations) for purposes of publishing and archive, that in line with JAES Privacy statement will not be given to third parties without authors’ consent.
- If the manuscript contains more than one author, the corresponding author is indicated and the professional e-mail address is given.
- The submission text file is in Microsoft Word format in English language and adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in Instructions for Authors.
- Illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points;
- If Manuscript is created as a result of research projects financed by state or international institutions proper Acknowledgement is given.
Acknowledgments is written in a separate section and contain: full name of the project, evidential number of project and full name of the institution that financed the project.
- References are written in a separate section at the end of the paper (even when they are written in footnotes) in the line with Author Guidelines. Where available, DOI number/URLs for the references have been provided.
- For submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Double-Blind Review have been followed.
- My co-authors on the manuscript have been informed of submission and they agree with it.
Ensuring a Blind Peer Review
- The
authors of the document have deleted their names from the text, with Author and
year used in the references and footnotes, instead of the authors' name,
article title, etc.
- With Microsoft Office documents, author identification should also be removed from the properties for the file.
